Feeling

This is how I felt for most of the weekend---like a VERY old woman! What is up with having back spasms? Last week I thought it was arthritis in my back and now I think by lower right side is spazzing out!

Wishful Wednesday......

• that we all slow down and breathe a little easier in regards to work and school.
• that the H1N1 doesn't invade our house.
• we figure out what we'll do for the holidays.

I think I can, I think I can.........

Busy weekend, busy work week!

Highlights:

Shopping with the girls on Friday/Saturday/Sunday--they were great shoppers!

AJ and Adrian having a sucessful and fun Indian Guides Camp Out.

Watching TV and taking a small nap.

Tonight....

I get to watch whatever I want on TV

and have the bed to myself.

Ah..............................

Feeling Better

Not quite so tired today--YEAH!

The girls ARE going to sleep thru the night this weekend-

it's a girls weekend since the boys will be camping!

I am tired.

Sunday Night

Overall a nice weekend--fall has arrived in the Windy City. Went to Story Hour, worked in the yard putting up Halloween decoration2 and planted tulip bulbs. Also went on a nice bike ride with Sweetheart #2--wonder if I'll be soar in the morning?

Should be a good week--slow start with no school tomorrow. Happy Columbus Day!

Before I forget.......

Sweetheart #1 is so cute. He started CCD this year and really taken a liking to the teacher and the material. Everynight he is interested in the Rosary (I had to dig deep to help out) and loves to do his homework. Before he left for class last night he wanted to wear a "collared" shirt and was running to class because the bell had already rung. Gotta luv it! He also said a prayer for crossing the street. : )

Birthday Memories:

• Waking up and spending the morning with all the Sweethearts and my MIL. Very nice.
• My cards! (BOO!)
• Lunch with co-workers and Sweethearts #1, #3 and #4 and the MIL. That was very unexpected!
• The start of a great Labor Day weekend!
• Spending the day before my birthday at the Baseball Game and getting a little sun. : ) The White Sox won.

Day of Work

I'm going to the Cubs/White Sox game on Thursday! I love working!!!

Today is August 28th and I never once took the kids to the pool this summer.

Bummer.

It was a very cool summer in Chicago and every time I wanted to go, it was never over 70 degrees!

I guess that's one good thing about #2 going to summer camp...he gets to go swimming and #3/4 go with the sitter.

Maybe next year......but let's not forget we did go to the OCEAN!!!

June 2009:

Last Day of School for Sweetheart #2. So grown up and moving on to First Grade!!!
Day Camp Starts--as always-mixed feelings about this program.....
Trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan! So fun and so cute!!!!
Blue Jay Baseball games through out the month!
Mema and Papa came to visit and take #2 with them on a journey to SC.

July 2009:
Litchfield Beach with Family. So fun to see my cousin from Egypt!
Vacation Bible School for #2.
Swimming for #3 and #4 at daycare--they love the water!
DRURY LANE Block Party was a blast!

August 2009:

Adrian's cousins visiting from Lawrence.

AJ going to Kansas City/Lawrence for 8 days!!

Having Aunt Beth come to visit.

Having Nana come and watch the girls.

AJ's 1st day of 1st Grade.

Lazy Days of Summer

North Litchfield Beach 2009 was a great trip. Sweetheart #2 did great on his trip with Mema and Papa and we did okay too! Next year we want to go to the beach for a A LOT LONGER!!!

I'll Try It Again

Summer is here and it's been way too long! I really do enjoy this and want/need to do it! Can you tell I'm talking to myself......plus I'm procrasinating on some work that needs to be done!
